As FMS’s Media Director, Bert coaches our media team to maximize the performance of our clients’ ad campaigns, overseeing strategy, planning, negotiating, buying, executing, and reporting. An expert in both traditional and digital media platforms, Bert has a 30+ year history of delivering strong results for top tier clients on a local, national and global scale. For Bert, success starts with strategy. He’s adept at defining target audiences, determining the best media platforms to activate, and establishing budget allocations across multiple platforms—the goal of which is to get our clients’ messaging in front of potential customers. Prior to moving to Nashville, he worked for agencies in Los Angeles and New York City. When he’s not in the office, you can find him hard at work coaching his children’s sports teams.

I'd probably be coaching sports or I'd be a rock star.

I can juggle pretty well and I play the saxophone. Well, I used to play the saxophone.
What's the hardest part of your job?
The hardest part of my job is getting my clients to understand the value of upper funnel tactics.
