Shannon Hester
Senior Art Director
Shannon has learned a few things over the years, and one is stepping back and seeing how strategy, story, and design truly fit together. Clients count on her for that. When she has a problem to solve or feels stuck, she has learned to trust the process, which for her is providing the space to let ideas flow. Usually that means heading out for a run or some other workout. She describes a breakthrough kind of like a runner's high, once you're in the flow, things start to click. It's her little way to hack into her brain. Outside of work, she likes to mix it up—triathlons, Hyrox, lifting, and hiking. Shannon describes her work and life much like a hybrid sport. Always mixing it, having fun doing it, creating balance, learning, adapting, and growing as much as she can to prepare for whatever's ahead.

How does your work life balance with your home life?
I actually love the complexities of my job and coming up with creative ideas. I love to run to cut out the noise and really dial in on an idea or listen to a book that gives me ideas for whatever it is I am working on. In that same vein, I also workout and do things with my hands to turn off the ideas and the noise. The silence helps in some odd way.
